The humpback and her calf were around for a few weeks...

There was quite a buzz around the coast while they were here. We spoke to friends who were lucky enough to swim nearby to them! Of course while maintain a safe and respectful distance.

There's something wonderful about the simple enjoyment that seeing these incredible creatures created. We spent a few days walking along the coast path following their journey.

Everyone we met along the way was talking about it, sharing tips on where they had got to now, and how to see them.

I think we all felt a little sad when they moved on...

Because our seaweed is hand harvested, we make our products in small batches. This is so we don't use too much seaweed at a time, which allows the area we collect seaweed from to happily regenerate.
