You are probably noticing the abcense of Silicones in our haircare. These are fequently used to add slip to products, but this is their only benfit and can actually build up over time, preventing the scalp and hair to absorb nutrients. This buildup can make hair dry, brittle, and more prone to breakage in the long run, especially for fine or chemically treated hair. Your hair will gradually adjust and become stronger and healthier. Seaweed has been known for generations to treat a lot of skin issues, such as Eczema and Psoriasis. Also, the herbs we infuse in our products help with these concerns too, our customers find that their symtoms are eased with our products.

Our shampoo is 5-6 and our conditioner is 4.5 - 5.5 PH level.

Our haircare goes beyond simply "free-from" as it delivers high levels of super-nutirents that can only be delivered in a liquid formulation.

Our pumps distribute a 1.6ml dose per pump so four pumps equals a 6.4ml dose and the bottles are 280ml, this means you get just over 43 washes of four pumps in a bottle

The labels do indeed state 250ml, but we actually discovered that they contain 280ml, so we have updated this now on our new printed bottles. Your bottles will contain 280ml, we just hadn't put that on the labels.

No - our natural pigments are carefully balanced to tone without leaving a purple haze or unwanted residue, even on porous or lightened hair. They rinse cleanly and gently.

Our Facial Oils don't contain added hyaluronic acid or collagen, however, seaweed can actively boost skins natural collagen production. Hyaluronic acid is the main constituent of a family of polysaccharides, and there are naturally high levels of polysaccharides in seaweeds. These polysaccharides actively help to lock moisture into the skin.

Our soap is susceptible to water absorption due to the seaweed we infuse into it and we generally recommend allowing it to air dry between uses on a well draining soap dish. We suggest either cutting it in half and using it half at a time or we have some customers who use an upturned nailbrush to rest it on.

Fucus Serratus

We use essential oils in our products for their gorgeous fragrance and potential skin & hair benefits. The percentage of essential oils we use is at sage levels for use, and all our products are independently safety assessed to verify this

The natural purple hue comes from a blend of blue spirulina (a seaweed), radish extract, and Cape Jasmine fruit — all selected for their plant-based pigment and hair-friendly properties.

Our seaweed, (and the herbs we use) is sustainably wild harvested by hand. Our harvesters only ever cut the top parts of the plants, this allows them to regenerate, a little like pruning your garden. Seaweeds grow up to ten times faster than land plants too. We use recyclable packaging and reusable pump tops and package our products in infinitely recyclable aluminium, glass and cardboard.

We are continually researching how to do this and avoid plastic, as of yet we have not found a solution.

Our bottles are made from safely-lined aluminium, a durable and lightweight material that's infinitely recyclable and kinder to the planet.

The interior of our aluminium bottles is lined with a food-safe polyamide-imide resin, ensuring your product remains pure and uncontaminated while protecting the integrity of the bottle.

These balms are contained in sturdy, recyclable tins and perfect for keeping your balm fresh and easy to take with you on the go.

Our Renewal Bio Moisturiser cream container is made of glass.

We've switched to using 100% recycled brown paper because it's more eco-friendly than shredded white paper. It's easier to reuse, compostable, and aligns with our commitment to reduce waste wherever possible.

We haven't been leaping bunny certified but we will certainly look into this as we are 100% cruelty free and endorsed by the Naturewatch Foundation.

All orders are sent using a Fully Tracked Delivery Service (Royal Mail 24 or 48 - 1st and 2nd class) and are delivered Monday - Friday (exc. Bank or Public Holidays).

Your delivery time frame will begin from the following working day if the order is placed after 6pm. A signature is not currently required at the point of delivery.

The pumps do have quite effective locking devices. If you hold the wide part just below the silver collar and then turn the pump, it should click and unlock. There is also a locking clip under the pump, remove to use and keep for travel use.

We don't offer samples, because we did not want to create lots more packaging, we do offer our 60 day, try at home, refund policy
