Angelica Sinensis (also known as female ginseng) is one of the herbs that we infuse into a few of our products, our Skin Repair Balm, Shampoo and Conditioner (and it will be included in our gorgeous new Face Cream too).
The reason we love this plant so much is because Angelica contains many nutrients, such as antioxidants, phytoestrogens, minerals and vitamins and has many renowned health benefits for the skin and hair.
Angelica for hair & scalp health
For generations, Angelica root has been used in traditional healthcare for the treatment of hair loss. It can help to stimulate oxygen flow and circulation in the scalp to facilitate healthy hair follicles and therefore promote the regeneration of healthy hair cells.
Angelica can also help to reduce redness and inflammation of the skin, helping to heal problems such as Eczema and can help the skin to generally appear clearer, softer and healthier.
