Part of the Buckwheat family and growing as a vine with pink and white flowers, Polygonum Multiflorum is an amazing herb that has had positive research into its benefits for the scalp and hair! This is why we infuse it into our Super Nutrient Shampoo and Conditioner, along with our Organic Seaweed (and other herbs!).

Studies have shown that this plant can speed up the transition of hair follicles from the dormant stage to the growth stage whilst also having a positive impact on grey hair, both to maintain your natural colour and delay the onset of new greys!

Not only can Polygonum help with scalp problems like hair loss, but it can also improve hair thickness and help with thinning/dry/oily hair too by stimulating proper blood circulation in the scalp, nourishing, feeding and supporting the hair follicles.

In one study 26 pre and postmenopausal women used Polygonum for six months and 97% saw significant improvement in hair loss, while 77% reported significant and dramatic improvement in hair thickness.

In another study 24 men and 24 women with different types of hair loss, (age-related, stress, medication and postpartum) after one month 91% of men and 87% of women reported improvement.
